Police Probe Suspected Murder in Kyeizoba, Bushenyi District

The Police in Bushenyi District have launched investigations into a suspected case of murder after the body of an unidentified man was discovered in a swamp in Nyambirizi Cell, Kyeizoba Sub-county, on Wednesday, October 15, 2025.

According to the Greater Bushenyi Regional PRO, SP Tayebwa Apollo, the deceased is believed to be a male adult aged around 30 years. Preliminary findings indicate that the victim had visible injuries on the head, suggesting possible foul play.

Police officers responded to the scene and conducted a forensic examination in accordance with standard procedures. The body was later conveyed to Kitagata Health Centre IV mortuary for a postmortem examination to determine the exact cause of death.

SP Tayebwa said investigations are underway to establish the deceased’s identity, the circumstances surrounding his death, and to trace the suspects behind the incident.

“We urge anyone with information regarding this incident to come forward. We also appeal to the public to remain vigilant and calm as we continue our investigations,” he said.
