Police investigate fire outbreak at their garment factory along Jinja road.

The police Fire Prevention and Rescue Services have today evening, at about 8pm responded to a fire outbreak that happened at the Police Garment Factory located along Jinja Road.
The fire is believed to have started from one of the stores where tailored clothes and materials were kept.
Luke Owoyesigyire the Deputy PRO Kampala metropolitan police says all night shift staff were safely evacuated and no one was injured or died.

“Our fire fighers have extinguished the fire.
Investigations have started to ascertain the cause of the fire. We will share more details as they come in” he said.
