One killed, two injured as thugs attack Petrol City fuel station in Bukedea
The Police of Bukedea district are hunting for assailants who shot and killed one person while two others were severely injured.
The thugs also stole mobile phones and money at Bukedea Petro City fuel filling station at around 21:00hrs.
SP Ageca Oscar Gregg the PRO, East Kyoga says preliminary findings indicate that unidentified persons snatched the security guard’s gun which they used in the crime.
The victims have been identified as Masete Ivan the security guard at the station, Tom the pump attendant and Dan the manager of the station. The trio was grievously injured during the incident and police rushed them to Bukedea health centre from where they were further referred to Mbale Regional Hospital.
Unfortunately, Dan the manager of the fuel station passed on his way to the hospital.
Ageca called for calm as the hunt for the assailants continues.
“We ask the public not to try and access the incident scene as it’s cordoned off and access limited to those ceased with the investigative process,” says Ageca.
