Headmaster in trouble for sodomizing six pupils, remanded to Kitalya
The headmaster of Real Infant Primary School in Wakiso district Mpagi Didas alias Bakulu is in deep trouble, after six pupils pinned him for sodomising them on several occasions between 2016 and 2019.
On Thursday, Mpagi appeared before the International Crimes Division Judge, Justice David Wangutusi on charges of aggravated defilement.
Court heard that the victims were required to sleep naked and Mpagi would then fondle their genitals with his fingers and thereafter, practice oral and penetrative anal sex on them.
The children were aged between 10 years and 16 years when the crimes were committed.
The victims told Court Mpagi who was also a Youth Pastor admitted them on a bursary scheme and threatened to withdraw it if they refused to sleep with him or reported the matter.
Prosecution told court that the head teacher who also used to work as a warden at the school, would sleep with each of the victims in the dormitory where he also often slept.
Due to Mpagi’s actions, the victims felt pain in the stomach and buttocks and found it hard to pass urine and feces normally. Prosecution further argued that the head teacher would intimidate the boys whenever they complained about his actions.
The judge adjourned the case until 8th June for further hearing and remanded Mpagi to Kitalya government prison. He faces 12 charges related to aggravated defilement and trafficking in children.
