Equity Bank Under threat as most staff are affected with COVID-19

Equity Bank staff in Kampala city have paid deaf ears to the president and health ministry’s guidelines of observing the SOPs’ following the increasing reported cases of COVID-19 that have left a number of people dead.

The bank staff are reported to be workings on a daily but no action has been taken by the market heads as this is causing panic in the community following a case where employees are suspected to be COVID-19 positive was allowed in the bank.

The health authorities in the city have advised the bank and entire public to follow the SOPs’ and advised that those who face any signs of covid-19 stay a way from those close to them and rather reach out to the health centers and get treatment.

According to whistleblowers, they it that the situation is very serious, and the bank bosses don’t want to hear their say. They also added saying that they work too much and most people are not doing well, most of the stuff are affected with virus, something that is very worrying.
