Man lynched for engaging in sexual acts with village girl in a bush

A 23-year-old man has been killed by unknown assailants after they found him engaging in sexual acts with a woman in the bush.

According to Muhammad Nsubuga the Regional Spokesperson Greater Masaka, the deceased is Kibirige Paul a resident of Katoma village, Kibinge s/county, Bukomansimbi District.

It is alleged that the chairman LC 1 of the same village, identified as Musangi Joseph held a giveaway function of his daughter only identified as Nantale on Sunday 27/2/2022.

In the night, a Disco was held for villagers to enjoy. However, Kibirige took advantage to engage in sexual acts in a bush with a woman only identified as Viola.

Nsubuga says a group of people suspected to be relatives of Viola followed the duo and lynched Kibirige.

The scene of crime was visited by the DPC, OC CID, and a team of homicide detectives with the canine team from Sembabule police station.

The officers recovered exhibits and arrested 3 suspects to help with investigations.
