IGP Ochola urges public to remain vigilant during Easter Festivities
The Inspector General of Police, IGP J.M Okoth Ochola (ESQ) has urged members of the public to remain vigilant and extra alert during this Easter Festival.
In his Easter message issued today, Ochola said that more often, criminal elements take advantage of such holidays to intensify their unlawful, criminal acts.
He added that as part of the enforcement, collaborative efforts with sister Security Agencies have been heightened, with increased visibility across the country, with intention to counter all forms of threats and vulnerabilities.
“Important to note, operations against all persons found to be flouting the Covid-19 health and safety protocols are still on. We argue you all to be mindful of the threats of COVID-19 and to stay safe” IGP Ochola said.
He applauded members of the public for their continuous and invaluable support as police pursues and strives for a safer, peaceful country.
