Two suspected boda boda thieves killed in Mbarara

An angry mob has lynched two suspected boda boda thieves to death in Mbarara. The incident happened on Friday around Buremba road, Kakoba Division, Mbarara city.  

Samson Kasasira the Rwizi Region Police spokesperson says the suspected thieves were sent to their graves by angry Boda Boda riders who allegedly caught them red handed with a numberless motorcycle while looking for a buyer.  

According to Kasasira, police was notified by someone in the area and responded immediately only two find the two already dead.  

Police recovered the numberless motorcycle Chassis number MD2A18A YIKWD14273 while the two bodies were taken to Mbarara Regional Referral Hospital mortuary for postmortem.  

Police has since opened investigations into the matter.
