Woman Arrested for chopping Off Husband’s Genitals in Kamuli
The Police in Kamuli have in custody a 35-year-old woman for allegedly attempting to murder her husband by cutting off his genitals.
The suspect has been identified as Nabirye Kevin a resident of Buguwa village, Kawaga Parish, Balawoli Sub-county in Kamuli District.
The victim is Bwamiki Mathias 37 years, a resident of the same address.
ASP Kasadha Micheal the Regional spokesperson Busoga North says the incident occurred on 18/02/25 at about 11:00 pm at the couple’s residence.
Initial findings indicate that the victim’s brother identified as Mukubo Godfrey received a phone call from the victim informing him of the incident.
Upon reaching home, the victim was still struggling with the wife and in a pool of blood. He rescued the brother before reporting the matter to police.
The Victim has been rushed to Kamuli General Hospital where he is admitted.
Kasadha says that exhibits of evidential value have been recovered from the scene and further investigations are ongoing.
