Why Bukoto Central MP Hon Richard Ssebamala sleeps in Parliament

Close sources who prefer not to be mentioned have told this website that a Member of Parliament representing Bukoto Central, a constituency in Masaka district works and sleeps on his desk in Parliament.

Hon Richard Ssebamala according to our sources is wanted by a group of Kenyans that he failed to pay after transacting business with them.

In 2021 after he was elected Member of Parliament Bukoto Central, Hon Ssebamala who who is also a close friend of Kenyan President H.E William Ruto started doing business in Kenya. For a while, he has been buying from Kenyans and not paying perhaps because he was close friends with the President of Kenya.

It was until the Kenyan powerful businessmen decided to camp in Uganda demanding payment that is close to Shs1 billion. It is said that these men have been monitoring Hon Ssebamala’s moves but he is afraid if he doesn’t pay, they might take action on him and apart from home, he believes the only safe place in the Parliament
