Three more guns recovered during Disarmament operations in Karamoja Sub Region

The Joint Security Task team carrying out disarmament in Karamoja Sub Region has recovered three more guns from Karamojong warriors in continued disarmament operations.

The guns are; No. 15508 were recovered from Loduu Talep of pupu village, pupu parish, Rupa sub county Moroto district, and No. UG 6351 2000, recovered from Lokong Lokiru of Lokitela Kapus village, Lokisire parish, Lotisah sub county with 4 rounds and one recovered from Loyor keem of Pupu village, Pupu parish in Rupa Subcounty.

AIP Longole Mike the Ag. PRO Mt. Moroto says that this brings to 22, the total number of recovered guns since 19/07/2021.

On Sunday, the Security Task team recovered four guns in Lomania village Loletyo Subcounty in Kotido District. They also arrested two suspects.
