Police Investigating Gang Defilement Incident in Pallisa District

Police in Pallisa District have launched investigations into a case of aggravated defilement involving a 13-year-old pupil of Kameke Primary School.

The incident occurred on the evening of September 27, 2025, in Komolo Village, Kameke Parish, Pallisa Sub-County. According to police reports, the victim, identified as Asio Elizabeth, was allegedly ambushed by a group of boys while walking home with a friend.

One of the suspects, identified as Ogunya, reportedly assaulted the minor before being joined by four others who also subjected her to sexual violence. The attackers fled the scene and remain at large.

Bukedi North Police PRO, ASP Kyempasa Wilfred, says that the victim was later rescued by a Boda Boda rider, who rushed her home after realising she was in critical condition. She was first admitted to Kameke Health Centre III before being referred to Pallisa Central Hospital for further treatment.

Kyempasa confirmed that the case was reported on September 28, 2025. Witness statements have been recorded, and forensic evidence, including blood samples and vaginal swabs, has been secured for DNA analysis. The crime scene was also examined and documented.

The police spokesperson said investigations are ongoing, and efforts are underway to apprehend the suspects.
