Police Investigate Death of Woman at Bryan White’s Home

The police at Katwe have launched investigations into the circumstances surrounding the death of a 25-year-old woman, identified as Nalubwama Caroline, who allegedly sustained serious injuries while at the home of socialite Mr Bryan Kirumira, commonly known as Bryan White.

According to ASP Luke Owoyesigyire, the Deputy PRO KMP, preliminary reports indicate that the incident occurred at Bryan White’s residence in Kyamula, Makindye Division, where Nalubwama reportedly suffered severe injuries under unclear circumstances. She was rushed to Kiruddu Hospital, where medical personnel pronounced her dead.

Police say a team of detectives, together with other relevant officers, immediately visited the scene of the incident. The area was examined and documented, and several exhibits were recovered to assist in the ongoing investigations.

The body of the deceased has since been conveyed to the City Mortuary, Mulago, for a post-mortem examination to determine the exact cause of death.

Meanwhile, Owoyesigyire says that the suspect, Bryan White, who reportedly also sustained injuries during the alleged incident, is receiving medical treatment and has recorded a statement with the police to aid the investigation.

He adds that they are working to retrieve CCTV footage from the premises and surrounding areas, as well as to interview additional witnesses to establish the full sequence of events leading to Nalubwama’s death.
