Police hunt for woman who defiled 11-year-old boy
The Police in Luwero are hunting for a woman who allegedly defiled an 11-year-old boy. The incident occurred on Saturday, November 4th, 2023, at 04:00 p.m. in Namaliga East, Bombo Town Council, within Luwero District.
ASP Twineamazima Sam PRO, Savannah Region says preliminary information indicates that on November 4th, 2023, around 04:00 pm, the victim left his parent’s home to collect grasshoppers under the nearby lights. While on his way, he encountered a woman whose identity he recognized by face. This woman lured him to accompany her to her residence.
Upon their arrival at her house, the woman closed the door and proceeded to undress the child, instructing him to lie on the bed. She warned the victim that any attempt to raise an alarm would be met with accusations of theft. She coerced the child into engaging in sexual activity. After which she threatened to kill him, should he disclose her crime.
Twineamazima says the victim returned home in tears, and when questioned by his parents, he narrated the horrifying encounter. The parents rushed him to a health centre for administration of post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP).
Kabamba Yusuf, the victim’s stepfather, reported the matter to the police.
“Our officers visited the scene, documented the evidence with the assistance of Scene of Crime Officers (SOCO), and gathered statements from relevant witnesses. A Police Form 3 (PF3) was issued for the victim’s medical examination, and a sketch plan of the crime scene was produced,” says Twineamazima.
He says that efforts to arrest the suspect are underway.
