Police Hunt Armed Thugs After Aggravated Robbery in Bulenga

 Police in Wakiso District are investigating an incident of aggravated robbery that occurred on the night of November 6, 2025, at Kikaaya Village, Ssumbwe Parish, Wakiso Sub-county.

ASP Luke Owoyesigyire the Deputy PRO – Kampala Metropolitan Police told reporters that preliminary findings indicate that three unidentified armed men riding on a motorcycle attacked several business premises, including a soft drink depot, a mobile money and agent banking outlet, and a retail shop. One of the suspects was reportedly armed with a gun.

The assailants made off with an unspecified amount of cash and two mobile phones before fleeing the scene. Fortunately, no injuries were reported during the attack.

CCTV footage from two of the affected premises captured the suspects and is currently being reviewed to support ongoing investigations.

A case of aggravated robbery has been registered at Bulenga Police Station. A team of officers visited the scene, documented evidence, and launched inquiries aimed at tracking down the perpetrators.

Owoyesigyire appealed to members of the public with any information that could lead to the identification or arrest of the suspects to share it with the nearest police station.
