Police Arrest Two in Nagalama Over Suspected Cattle Theft

Police in Nagalama are holding two suspects in connection with suspected cattle theft.

According to SP Racheal Kawala, the Kampala Metropolitan Police spokesperson, officers also recovered a cow believed to have been stolen.

Kawala said one of the suspects was found selling meat suspected to be from a stolen cow. Police were alerted and responded swiftly, leading to the arrest of the suspects.

Preliminary findings indicate that the recovered cow was intended to be slaughtered on Easter Sunday. The two suspects remain in custody as investigations continue.
