My SafePad International Hosts a Training of Trainers Program on Mentrual Health and Sexual Reproductive Rights

My Safepad International, in partnership with Chandragupt Institute of Management, hosted a Training of Trainers (ToT) program aimed at equipping participants with knowledge and facilitation skills in menstrual health, sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR).

The online training, held on 08/05/2026, focused on deepening participants’ understanding of menstrual health and strengthening their ability to openly and accurately discuss issues related to menstruation and reproductive health rights. The sessions also aimed to broaden perspectives on how menstrual health can be addressed in communities in a more informed and stigma-free manner.

Participants were taken through various thematic areas, including key terminology used in menstrual health and SRHR discussions. Many noted that they had previously encountered these terms but did not fully understand their meanings, which had limited their confidence in engaging in related conversations or sharing accurate information.

The training also provided an interactive space where participants could ask questions and seek clarification on menstrual health and SRHR topics. By the end of the program, participants reported increased confidence, improved understanding of the subject matter, and readiness to facilitate discussions and share knowledge within their communities.

Post-training feedback highlighted a strong improvement in awareness and confidence, alongside a commitment to promoting menstrual health education and advancing sexual and reproductive health rights at community level.

During the online Training of Trainers sessions organized by My Safepad International in partnership with Chandragupt Institute of Management, the Team Lead, Bishop D. Wolah, emphasized the organization’s commitment to equipping participants with practical knowledge that can translate into measurable impact at community, school, national, and international levels through advocacy for sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), menstrual health, and dignity.

Bishop D. Wolah noted that when knowledge is effectively shared, it sparks meaningful conversations that can transform communities and improve lives. He further called on governments around the world to strengthen collaborative efforts and create harmonized frameworks that ensure equal understanding and alignment on SRHR issues globally.

The training brought together participants from different countries, including Kenya, Liberia, Ethiopia, India and Uganda, reflecting a diverse and global engagement in advancing menstrual health education and sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) advocacy.

At the end of the program, participants were awarded certificates of completion in recognition of their active participation and successful completion of the Training of Trainers course, marking their readiness to support and educate others within their respective communities.
