Mpigi Police Recover 17 Human Skulls in Metallic Boxes
The police in Mpigi have recovered a total of 17 human skulls locked in four metallic boxes. The discovery was made on July 28, 2024, at 1930 hours, after the police received information about metallic boxes found in a deserted shrine in Kabanga, Mpigi Town Council.
SP Majid Karim, the PRO Katonga, stated that the boxes are allegedly linked to Lujja Tabula, a suspect wanted in connection with the murder of Bossa Daniel, leader of the Ndiga clan, which occurred in February 2024.
A team of Scenes of Crime Investigators and detectives, led by the Regional Police Commander (RPC), visited and thoroughly documented the crime scene. During the search, 17 suspected human skulls of varying sizes were recovered from the four metallic boxes and exhibited as evidence.
The Uganda Police Force is conducting a thorough investigation into the matter, and further updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
