Man murders his wife over infidelity

The Police in Nakaseke District have arrested Rashid Katongole a resident of Butibulongo village in Wakyato Sub-County killed his wife, Monica Kunihira, 35 on allegations of infidelity.

The incident happened on Monday 30/10/2023 at around 8:00 a.m.

Ismail Kiwanuka, the Butibulongo village LCI Chairperson says that Katongole found his wife with another man in the garden which is about 10 metres from their home.

Katongole beat Kunihira who sustained injuries. She died before she was transported to the hospital. 

Sam Twiineamazima, the Savannah Regional Police Spokesperson said that they are hunting for another suspect in connection to the same incident.
