Katwe Police Hunt Alien Skin, Others Over Death of “Top Dancer”
Katwe Police are investigating a murder case following the death of Namuwaya Wilfred, alias “Top Dancer”, who was formerly linked to Fangone Forest. Namuwaya died on September 22, 2025, at Mulago Hospital after sustaining serious injuries from an alleged assault.
According to SSP Patrick Onyango, the Kampala Metropolitan Police spokesperson, Namuwaya was picked up from his residence in Ndeeba on September 20 by an individual identified as Musomali, who is said to be associated with Fangone Forest. He was allegedly taken to the forest where Mulwana Patrick, popularly known as Alien Skin, reportedly instructed his team to “discipline” Namuwaya for leaving the group without permission.
Police say the group severely assaulted Namuwaya before abandoning him in Mpomba Zone. Good Samaritans rushed him to Mulago Hospital for treatment, but he succumbed to his injuries two days later.
Law enforcement agencies are now hunting for the suspects, including Mulwana Patrick alias Alien Skin, Commander Mdogo, Ibra Kabadiya, and Mijagulo.
The Fangone Forest gang has, in recent weeks, been linked to several assaults on former subscribers and others, with many victims reportedly too afraid to come forward due to fear of retaliation.
Onyango says that investigations are underway and the suspects will be brought to book.
