Kabalagala Police Launch “Dwog Paco” Operation, Arrest 65 Suspects

Kabalagala Police Division has launched an intelligence-led operation code-named “Dwog Paco” to curb rising crime in its jurisdiction.

The crackdown, conducted on September 18, 2025, targeted crime-prone areas including Kasanga, Kisugu, Namungogo, Kanyongoga, and Kasavu Parish in Makindye Division.

According to Police spokesperson for Kampala Metropolitan, SSP Patrick Onyango, the operation was in response to growing community concerns over simple robberies, muggings, burglaries, and other criminal activities. A total of 65 suspects were arrested and detained at Kabalagala Police Division. They face various charges, including possession of narcotic drugs and breaking implements. Statements have since been recorded from the suspects.

Onyango said the operation is ongoing and reaffirmed the force’s commitment to reducing criminality through proactive, intelligence-driven efforts.
