Infinix And Airtel Uganda Launch New Smartphone “Infinix Note 40 Series”
Infinix Uganda has introduced its latest flagship device, the Infinix Note 40, promising a groundbreaking fast-charging experience set to redefine smartphone usage.
Unveiled at a lavish event hosted at Four Points by Sheraton Hotel in Kampala, the Note 40 series comprises three variants: Note 40, Note 40 Pro, and Note 40 Pro+ 5G, aimed at transforming smartphone perspectives and addressing usage concerns among Ugandans.
The standout feature of the Infinix Note 40 is its remarkable fast-charging capability, charging from 1% to 50% in just 8 minutes. This innovation is complemented by AI charging protection, ensuring safe charging practices and alleviating concerns about overcharging.
In addition to its charging prowess, the Infinix Note 40 boasts a sleek design with a 3D curved AMOLED display, exuding elegance and sophistication.
Barnett Fan, the Brand Manager for Infinix, expressed the company’s commitment to enhancing user experiences and accessibility to high-quality smartphones in Uganda. He emphasized the collaboration with partners like Airtel, Easy Buy, and Take Now to make premium smartphones easily accessible to Ugandans.

“As we gather here today to unveil the remarkable Infinix Note 40 Series, we are not just celebrating a new product but also embracing a future that aligns seamlessly with Uganda’s National Investment Plan. This is a roadmap to prosperity, innovation, and growth for our nation,” she said.
She also added that all stakeholders, investors, and innovators to seize the opportunities presented by Uganda’s investment climate. As they continue to work together to build a future where innovation thrives, businesses flourish, and every Ugandan benefits from the fruits of development.
Minister Anite assured Infinix investors of government support, promising zero tax on imported phone parts to facilitate local assembly. She urged expedited processes to commence phone assembly in Uganda, offering tax incentives to enhance competitiveness.
The Infinix Note 40 series is now available on the market, priced at UGX949,000 for the Note 40, UGX1,197,000 for the Note 40 Pro, and UGX1,461,000 for the Note 40 Pro+ 5G. Interested buyers can purchase through cash or instalment plans offered by Infinix’s device financing partners, with the added bonus of 5GB free data from Airtel for three months.
