Police at Kabalagala Police Division are investigating a tragic incident in which a five-year-old girl was electrocuted and died in Kakunguru Zone, Kibuli, Makindye Division, Kampala.

The deceased has been identified as Ayomirwoth Rehema.

According to ASP Luke Owoyesigyire, the Deputy Public Relations Officer for Kampala Metropolitan Police (KMP), the incident occurred on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, at about 11:00 a.m.
