Bus burns to ashes in Nwoya, passengers’ properties destroyed
The traffic police in Nwoya are investigating the cause of a fire that burnt to ashes, a bus owned by Nile Star Bus Company, Reg. No UBF 003Y, on Wednesday morning, February 14, 2024.
The incident happened at Latoro along the Pakwach-Karuma highway in Nwoya District while en route to Kampala.
Fortunately, ASP Ongom David Mudong the PRO Aswa West says all passengers were safely evacuated.
However, the bus was completely burnt and passengers’ properties worth millions of shillings were destroyed.
