Jimmy Mugerwa is the Founder and CEO of Zoramu Consulting Group Limited, a premier advisory firm specializing in the oil and gas sector. With a career spanning nearly three decades, Mugerwa is renowned for his extensive expertise and leadership in the energy industry, having made substantial contributions across both African and European markets.
Mugerwa’s journey in the oil and gas sector is marked by his impactful roles in several high-profile positions. His notable career began with Royal Dutch Shell, where he spent 19 years in various executive roles. His positions included serving as the Senior Regional Advisor for Sub-Saharan Africa at Shell’s corporate head office in the Netherlands and as the Country Chair and General Manager for Shell East Africa operations. During his time at Shell, Mugerwa played a crucial role in shaping the company’s strategy and operations across a diverse and challenging market landscape, demonstrating his ability to navigate complex environments and drive business success.
Following his tenure at Shell, Mugerwa took on the role of Managing Director at Tullow Uganda, where he led the company for eight years. Under his leadership, Tullow Uganda experienced significant growth and development, cementing Mugerwa’s reputation as a transformative leader in the industry.
