Former Kazo MP Bafaki dies in Kiwatule accident
Police at Kira Road are investigating the death of a former Member of Parliament for Kazo, Hon. Bafaki Gordon.
The 48years old former legislator, also a resident of Namugongo – Kira Division in Wakiso district died on the spot when his vehicle UBD 965E Toyota land cruiser TX knocked the rear body of the moving trailer reg. KBZ 539Z Mercedes Benz at Kiwatule along Northern Bypass at about 1:00 am this morning.
ASP Faridah Nampiima PRO Traffic says Bafaki died at the scene and his body has been conveyed to Mulago City Mortuary.
The driver of the Trailer identified as Kahagi John Kinuthia is in police custody to help in the investigations.
Bafaki represented County in the 10th Parliament.
