Body of unknown woman recovered from Bugoma central reserve forest
The Police in Kikuube district has recovered the body of an unidentified woman from Bugoma central reserve forest.
The body was found by passersby near Nyanseeke village in Kaseeta parish on Monday Morning and they alerted Peter Twinamatsiko, the Nyanseke Village LC 1 Chairperson.
Twinamatsiko says the deceased who is believed to be in her mid-30s had deep cuts on the head, face and around the left breast adding that she is a none resident who could have been killed elsewhere and her body dumped in the area.
According to Julius Hakiza the Albertine region police spokesperson, the deceased’s body is currently lying at Hoima City mortuary pending postmortem and identification.
By Tuesday morning, nobody had shown up to claim the body.
