Man in trouble after 16-year-old girl is found dead in his house

The police at Matugga are investigating the mysterious death of a 16-year-old girl Identified as Rebecca Nakigwe whose body was found lying in the house of 22-year-old Nicholas Kibuuka.

According to Deputy PRO KMP Luke Owoyesigyire, the duo has been in a sexual relationship. Meaning Kibuuka has been defiling her. He claims to have left Nakigwe home and went to work, only to find her dead on return.

The body was conveyed to City Mortuary Mulago and the postmortem confirmed that she died of suffocation.

She had a charcoal stove inside the house, which could have probably led to her death.

Kibuuka has been arrested and is being held at Matugga police station as the police are yet to forward the file to the DPP for advice.

Additional charges may also be added since the deceased was a minor.
