Kyagulanyi baffled by President Museveni’s 100% Score at some polling stations
Former Presidential candidate Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu has vowed to challenge the election of H.E Yoweri Museveni Tibuhabrwa, noting that Ugandans must and will reclaim their victory.
While reacting to the Electoral Commission final results that gave Mr. Museveni 100% score at 348 polling stations, and 95-99% at hundreds other polling stations across the country, Kyagulanyi said this was all the work of a dictator.
So this shameless dictator gave himself 100% at 348 polling stations. How does he and those who support him even sleep at night? Someone should tell him that if he must rig elections, he should be a bit smart!” he said.
Kyagulanyi who represented the National Unity Platform noted that according to the Electoral Commission, all registered voters at those polling stations turned up- no one died, was sick, travelled or just didn’t vote!
That no ballot was invalid at polling stations in rural areas of Isingiro and Kazo, yet there were invalid votes at polling stations in urhan places including Kampala.
“This fraud will not go unchallenged. Ugandans must and will reclaim their victory” he swore.
On Friday, Kyagulanyi through his lawyers of Wameli & Company Advocates notified the Supreme Court that he will be filing a Presidential petition on Monday 1st February 2021.
Many opposition leaders and supporters have often said going to Court would simply mean that he will legitimize Museveni’s election, as Court would never rule in his favor.
The NUP Party however insists that their candidate will be sworn in as President of Uganda, in May 2021.
