Man killed in Kampala, body dumped at Golf Course Roundabout

The Police at Wandegeya are investigating a suspected murder that occurred on Monday, August 21, 2023, at the Golf Course Roundabout, Kampala.

ASP Luke Owoyesigyire the Deputy PRO for Kampala Metropolitan Police says that at 8:00 AM this morning, the police at Wandegeya received information regarding a potential deceased individual in the area.

They responded to the scene and removed the body before conveying it to the City Mortuary Mulago for a postmortem examination.

The victim remains unidentified, but is presumed to be a male adult in his 40s wearing a green jacket, white trousers, and had open shoes nearby.

Preliminary investigations indicate that the victim was killed at a different location before his body was dumped at the Golf Course Roundabout.

Owoyesigyire says they will be reviewing CCTV camera footage in the vicinity. This, he says, will aid in piecing together the events leading up to this unfortunate incident and assist in identifying potential suspects.
