Maj. Gen Twakirwa Appointed Ag. Deputy Commander Land Force
The President and Commander in Chief of the Uganda Peoples Defence Forces has appointed Major General Francis Twakirwa as the Acting Deputy Commander of the Land Force.
Maj. Gen Twakirwa has been the commanding officer of the Second Division of the Uganda People’s Defence Forces in Mbarara.
The president appointed Major General JA Bakasumba as the Acting Chief of Staff Land Force.
According to Deo Akiiki the Deputy Defence Spokesperson, the CIC promoted Brigadier General Bob P Ogiki to Major General and appointed him 2nd Division Commander.
