29 year old man killed by own building in Nansana

A 29-year-old man is dead following the collapse of a storeyed building under construction.

The incident happened at Kabulengwa in Nansana Municipality today Friday.

Asp Luke Owoyesigyire the Deputy PRO KMP identifies the victim as Kawesa Joseph, 29.

The deceased’s body has been conveyed to Kampala Capital City Authority mortuary, Mulago, for a post mortem.

Owoyesigyire added that Police Fire Prevention and Rescue Services are still at the scene in search for the foreman of the site building, who is believed to still be trapped under the rubble.

He says they will share more details on the suspected cause of the collapse and victims as soon as investigations are complete.
