It is reported that the minor had been sent to a nearby shop in the Pallisa Industrial Area to buy household items when she was allegedly sexually assaulted by a man known to her by appearance.
Upon returning home, the child informed her mother about the incident. The mother immediately checked her and noticed bleeding. She later accompanied the child to the scene of the alleged crime before reporting the matter to Pallisa Police Station the following day, October 21, 2025, under reference number CRB 549/2025.
Kyepasa says that statements have been recorded from both the complainant and the victim. The victim was issued a Police Form 3A and referred for medical examination.
“Detectives and the Scene of Crime Officer visited the scene of the crime. It was examined, and a sketch plan was drawn. Medical findings indicated that the victim’s hymen was ruptured, with fresh bruises observed,” ASP Kyempasa added.
