Muslims have been urged to follow and observe all COVID-19 Guidelines set by Government through Ministry of Health.
This was contained in President Yoweri Museveni’s Ramadhan message released on Wednesday.
Muslims begun the holy month of Ramadhan on Tuesday after sighting the moon on Monday evening.
“May this month remind you to continue with good deeds by lending a helping to those in need, but observing the Corona regulations, SOPs. I comment the Muslim fraternity for the good work done and maintaining relationships with other religious denominations in building our nation” The President said.
He urged them to pray for peace for the entire nation and prayed that at the end of the holy month of Ramadhan, their prayers will be granted and rewarded.
“Observe Ramadhan, but please avoid congregating beyond the minimum number recommended by the Ministry of health” he said.
